Middle School Activities:
Wednesday Night Middle School Small Groups
September – May
The Confirmation program at Cross of Hope provides opportunities for Middle School students to encounter, experience and engage in the Good News of the gospel and the workings of the Holy Spirit in their lives as they Journey to the Cross. During this time of Faith Formation, students may make a personal decision to affirm their Baptism and continue to live a Christ centered life of discipleship.
Place these words on your hearts. Get them deep inside you. Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder. teach them to your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning until you fall into bed at night. Inscribe them on the doorposts and gates of your cities so you’ll live a long time, and your children with you, on the soil that God promised to give your ancestors for as long as there is a sky over the Earth. Deuteronomy 11:18 – 21 (The Message)
Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age. Matthew 28: 19-20 (The Message)
