Pastor Jason Lukis
763-753-2057 ext. 4

Pastor Jason, and his family came to Cross of Hope in Summer of 2014. While he has been living out a vocation of service to the Lutheran church in one form or another for over a decade, he was ordained in March of 2011.  A graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Computer Science, his call into ministry began while working as a Wilderness Guide at Camp Amnicon (an ELCA high adventure ministry in Northern Wisconsin) where he and his wife, Danae, met in 2003. Within their first year of marriage they moved to Berkeley, CA where Jason studied theology/ministry at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary.

While Jason’s passion for working with youth guided him into ordained ministry, after his first pastoral call in Western Washington, God grew in him a strong sense of call to congregational leadership, with passions for congregational visioning, preaching, and writing guitar-led liturgical music.
